The girl, now 19, said Mohammed Karrar burnt the letter M on her bottom when she was 12.

She told the Old Bailey: “He used a normal lighter to heat it up.

“He bent it into a letter M and stuck it on my bum so everyone would know I belonged to him.

“Basically he was branding me so people knew I was his if I ever had sex with someone else.”

The perma-tan pop statesman, 39, was unanimously voted by city councillors to promote the rich history and art of the world heritage site.

But more than 1,000 furious locals have signed a petition to get the Mysterious Girl singer — who has no links to the Mediterranean island — sacked.
